West Florida High School opened in August 2001 with a class of 325 ninth graders and has a current enrollment of 1200 ninth through twelfth graders.
In addition
to providing excellent academic and technical instruction, football, volleyball,
baseball, cheerleading, softball, cross country, track & field, basketball,
soccer,
swimming and golf are available. Clubs and other extracurricular activities
are also offered.
Transportation to West Florida High School is provided by trunk routes at
selected sites throughout the Escambia County School District.
Specifically, West Florida High Students have the advantages of:
WFHS is an Escambia County public high school dedicated to effectively integrating traditional academic subjects with technical training to prepare students for employment and/or post-secondary education.
