update as of 11/12/2019

The District One Thespian Festival was held this past weekend in Niceville, FL. Normally, this competition is held in the first week of January, so students had about two months less time (including the full winter break) to prepare these pieces (not to mention playwriting had to be turned in back on October 8th)!

Congratulations to the following students!

The student's top scores are as follows:

1. Haley Israelson: Costume Design, Superior

Scenic Design, Superior

2. Jacey Martin: Costume Design, Superior

Monologue, Excellent

3. Grace Stanley: Monologue, Superior

4. Kendall Fromsdorf: Monologue, Superior

5. Liberty "Levi" Isbell: Makeup Design, Superior

7. Sydney Grace Englehart: Solo Musical Theatre, Excellent

8. Ethan Middleton: Solo Musical Theatre, Excellent

9. Christian Lewis: Monologue, Excellent

*Students with superiors are eligible to compete at the Florida State Thespian festival in the spring (5 students in 6 events). Students that received an excellent rating are eligible to be considered as alternates for the state competition, should the need arise.
