Criminal Justice Operations
THE CRIMINAL JUSTICE OPERATIONS PROGRAM
Students in the Criminal Justice Operations Program will take all the normal course requirements for graduation as well as special criminal justice operations courses. Students will have contact with personnel from local law enforcement agencies, correctional facilities and the court system. In addition to classroom academics students will have the opportunity to join and receive additional practical experiences through participation in the Criminal Justice Club, a chapter of the Florida Public Service Association (FPSA)
STRATEGIES for SUCCESS
The primary focus of the Criminal Justice Operations program is on academics. Students will need to develop strong investigative research skills. The preparation of criminal justice related reports and documents will also require substantial verbal and writing skills. Students successfully completing the program will not only receive a high school diploma and technical certificate, but will be prepared for entry into one of the many non-certified criminal justice or private security careers or a community college and university.
